QTEC Aerospace is seeking an UI AUTOMATED TEST ENGINEER to join our team of professionals in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government in support of a Missile Defense System (MDS) with a mission of protecting the United States and our allies. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic. Job SummaryQTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: Software development in Java, C++, and Python for the User Interface (UI)Under minimal direction, will assist in designing and implementing an automated testing framework for the suite of UI products Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelors degree with at least 1 year of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline; 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPossess knowledge of automated testing, an understanding of test requirements, and the ability to develop test scripts in PythonBasic understanding with Git/GitlabKnowledge of common software development and management tools such as Confluence and JIRAFamiliarity with software engineering and Python developmentWillingness to take on unanticipated taskingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as neededSelf-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environmet Desired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFamiliarity with Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, Gradle, ClearCase, Jenkins, PyAutoGUI, TesseractExperience working in an agile development environment Security + certification Experience using the Selenium framework to test web applications Security ClearanceCandidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance. Salary RangeThe below salary range represents a general guideline; however, QTEC considers a number of factors when determining base salary such as the scope and responsibilities of the position as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
