Senior Manager of Accounting

This is a highly visible role that combines accounting leadership, project management, process improvement, and strategic business partnership . You'll work across the organization to improve processes, support major initiatives, and help ensure the accounting team operates efficiently and effectively. What You'll Do Partner with Accounting leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects Lead cross-functional efforts involving accounting, finance, operations, and technology teams Drive key initiatives including ERP enhancements, automation projects, process improvements, and business transformation efforts Develop executive reporting, presentations, and board materials Champion operational excellence through process standardization and continuous improvement Identify and resolve complex accounting and operational issues Serve as a key liaison between accounting leadership and internal stakeholders What We're Looking For 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, technical accounting, and internal controls Experience leading projects and driving process improvements Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Workday experience is a plus CPA Public accounting Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
