Allied Technician - Pharmacist

Staff PharmacistWe are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will work 13-hour shifts, with options for both daytime and nighttime schedules. You will play a crucial role in patient care, medication management, and the overall pharmacy operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations.Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication therapies.Monitor patient medication therapies for efficacy and safety.Participate in patient education regarding medication usage, side effects, and therapeutic outcomes.Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.QualificationsDoctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy practice setting.Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Meditech Expanse.Current pharmacy licensure in the state of practice is required.Must meet vaccination requirements, including Flu and MMR.Work ScheduleThe Staff Pharmacist position requires a commitment to a rotating schedule, which includes:13-hour shifts, either days or nights.Every 4th weekend rotation.Rotating holiday schedule among pharmacists.Compensation and BenefitsRelocation allowance available based on distance of move.Sign-on bonus offered.Join Our TeamIf you are passionate about pharmaceutical care and are looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply!
