Material Handler - Certified Forklift Operator

Seeking a certified Material Handler with proven forklift skills to support efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
This Material Handler position requires forklift certification and extensive experience in warehouse distribution. The role supports shipment and receipt processes for a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products. The position is a right-to-hire contract located at DFW Airport, TX, with a competitive hourly pay rate and scheduled hours from 12:00pm to 8:30pm including overtime as needed.

- PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
- HOURS: 12:00pm to 8:30pm with OT as needed
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other powered equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform manual and clerical tasks related to shipping and receiving materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
- Receive and inspect goods, verifying items against shipment records.
- Pack and prepare items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items.
- Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Complete required written and computerized documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 10 years of forklift experience, including 5 years with stand-up reach forklifts.
- 10 years of warehouse or distribution experience.
- Experience in large distribution centers using stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Completion of required pre-employment screening.
- Required steel-toe safety footwear by the first day of work.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
