ARDMS - CV Sonographer

MLR is partnering with a respected healthcare system to recruit a Cardiovascular Sonographer for a full-time, day-shift role (Monday through Friday). This position plays a vital role in performing critical cardiovascular diagnostic exams while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Exams: Perform cardiovascular ultrasound exams based on physician orders and department protocols.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit preliminary reports to physicians, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
• Communication: Promptly communicate urgent findings to cardiologists and referring physicians as per departmental guidelines.
• Certification Maintenance: Keep up-to-date with required certifications and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME).

ARRT - CV Sonographer Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of practical training or completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Certifications: RDCS, RCS, RVT, or RVS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR Certification: Must be current.
• Skills: Proficiency in cardiovascular and vascular ultrasound exams.
• On-Call Availability: Must be available for on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
