Hiring Contract Home Health Speech-Language Pathologists!

Job Description Job Description Role Overview: This independent contractor role is ideal for an SLP who thrives in a flexible, autonomous work environment and enjoys providing 1:1 care for adult clients. You will carry out evaluations and therapy sessions in clients' homes and help them achieve meaningful short-term goals across communication and swallowing domains. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive speech-language and cognitive-communication evaluations. Provide treatment for communication disorders (e.g., aphasia, dysarthria), cognitive impairments (e.g., following stroke, TBI, dementia), and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). Educate clients and caregivers on therapy goals and carryover strategies. Document all services provided in accordance with clinical and legal standards. Collaborate with physicians, care coordinators, and other allied health professionals as needed. Maintain a consistent and professional schedule within your availability. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active CA SLP license. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Medical and TB Clearance. Must carry professional liability insurance (required for 1099 contractors). Active Driver's License/Insurance and willingness to travel within the service area. Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills .
