Job Summary BlackSky is seeking a hands‑on Marketing Content Specialist to bring marketing strategies and messages to life across digital channels. The role involves creating compelling content for the website, social media, email, blog, customer presentations and more. The position is hybrid in Seattle, Washington, and reports to the Senior Director, Marketing. Responsibilities Implement content marketing plans aligned with overall marketing goals. Create engaging written content for blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, newsletters and website copy. Manage BlackSky social media channels, including calendaring, planning, content creation and engagement management. Coordinate photo and video shoots to capture new promotional content and produce regular visual media. Analyze content performance using analytics tools to track engagement and recommend improvements. Collaborate with the design team to ensure content is visually appealing and aligns with brand guidelines. Create graphics and visuals to support digital channels. Assist in developing editorial calendars and campaign timelines. Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity and consistency. Stay current with industry trends, content‑marketing best practices and competitor strategies. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in content marketing, corporate marketing or digital marketing. Experience managing corporate social media accounts for B2B or B2G audiences. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into simple narrative. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially for photo editing. Exceptional attention to detail, even when managing multiple deadlines. Understanding of basic design concepts. Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams without formal authority. Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights. Strong research skills and willingness to initiate projects. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English or Business. Experience in the aerospace, defense, or technology industries.
