You'll own the day-to-day accounting function, bring a strong audit mindset to everything you touch, and partner cross-functionally to ensure our financial data is accurate, prepared timely, and built to scale. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of something category-defining.Your Impact to the Role:Own day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations ,variance explanations and financial reportingPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data across the businessBring a strong audit mindset to internal controls, compliance, and financial processesResearch technical accounting matters, and prepare clear, well supported memos for audit and financial reporting purposesApply industry-relevant accounting knowledge to navigate the nuances of a high-growth technology and creator economy companyIdentify opportunities to improve and scale accounting systems and workflows as the business growsSupport external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements as neededYou Are Energized By:Building financial systems that scale — you get excited about creating infrastructure, not just maintaining itOperating with precision in a fast-moving environment — you thrive when things are moving quickly and you're the source of clarityStaying close to the details even at a senior level, you don't view being hands on as beneath the roleCross-functional collaboration — you enjoy partnering with teams across the business and translating financial complexity into clear, actionable insightsWhat We're Looking For:5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in auditCPA license Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards and demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and write up technical accounting positions and memosFamiliarity with modern accounting tools and a track record of process improvementIndustry-relevant experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup environment preferredExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentStrong communicator who can translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholdersBonus Points:Industry relevant experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup environmentNetSuite ERP system experienceIn compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is as shown. New York Pay Range$135,000—$155,000 USDThe provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation.
