Location: Aurora, OH
Pay: $32.47/hour
Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour for 2nd and 3rd shift 
Openings: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join a leading global industrial manufacturer specializing in precision-engineered components and large bearing systems used in demanding industrial applications.

This is a skilled, multi-function machining position responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with CNC milling, drilling, and turning equipment , reading blueprints and GD&T, editing CNC programs, setting tool and work offsets, and making adjustments to produce precision components that meet demanding specifications.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC milling, drilling, turning, and related machining equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and process sheets.
• Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, tool holders, and workholding equipment.
• Load, verify, and edit CNC programs as needed.
• Apply G-code and M-code functions.
• Establish and adjust work offsets, tool offsets, and tool lengths.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, depths of cut, and other machining parameters.
• Navigate Fanuc, Siemens, or comparable CNC controls .
• Verify machine setup and first-piece results before production.
• Make dimensional and process adjustments to maintain part quality.
• Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, program, and process issues.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, finishes, and other requirements.
• Complete required quality and production documentation.
• Identify and report nonconforming material or process conditions.
• Maintain machines, tooling, fixtures, and supporting equipment.
• Perform TPM activities and maintain 5S/6S housekeeping standards.
• Organize work to support production schedules and maximize OEE.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and EHS policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement, safety, TPM, 5S/6S, and process improvement activities.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous CNC machining experience .
• Ability to independently set up and operate CNC equipment.
• Strong blueprint and engineering drawing reading skills.
• Working knowledge of GD&T .
• Experience with CNC programs, G & M codes, and program editing.
• Ability to set tool and work offsets and adjust feeds and speeds.
• Knowledge of machining tools, workholding, and cutting processes.
• Ability to perform basic machining calculations involving fractions, decimals, algebra, geometry, and metric conversions.
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred:

• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or similar CNC controls .
• Experience with CNC milling, drilling, and turning.
• Experience creating or modifying CNC programs.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools and machining processes.
• Experience with TPM, 5S/6S, OEE, and continuous improvement.
• Experience machining large or complex components.
