CNC Programmer MachinistSealed Air is seeking an experienced, highly motivated CNC Programmer Machinist for their equipment Automation Center in Streetsboro, OH. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the position provides programming and editing for the numerically controlled equipment that utilizes the most up to date tooling and processes.Pay: $36.82Shift: Morning: Monday - Friday - 6:30 AM to 3:00 PMResponsibilitiesWorks safely and always contributes a safe work environmentWorks with Engineering in prototype development, deciphering sketches, blueprints and other detailsEnsures programs are optimized to maximize productivityManages all Machine Shop and Sheet Metal CNC/DNC programsParticipates in problem solving relating to blueprints and parts productionCreates tools for parts that require non-standard toolingFosters continuous improvement, quality, and team participation to ensure the most efficient processes are in useDesigns, documents, tests, creates, or modifies computer programs related to machine operating systemsResponsible for adjustments, additions, and any other programming changes that are necessary during set upWorks closely with CNC Machinists and operators to ensure that all programs run efficientlyReviews the product manufacturing requirements dailySupports continuous improvement and changesInspects products against prints using calipers and a full range of measuring equipmentParticipates in all safety programsQualifications2-5 years' experience in CNC machining experienceHigh School or GED required, Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferredAbility to work as a team player under pressure with changing prioritiesAbility to generate packages that supply all necessary information for operators to run programsMust have fluid understanding of machine capabilities, capacities, and a wide range of CNC Machines, Press Brakes, and Laser operationsAbility to work closely with machine operators, machinists, and engineersProficient with AutoCAD or Solid Works softwareProficient with MS Outlook, Word and ExcelProficient in troubleshooting programs at the machineAbility to select the proper tooling for efficient machining processesAbility to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and improved efficiencies, quality, and reduction in manufacturing costsAbility to manage project workload while adhering to aggressive completion scheduleMust be able to fluently speak, read, and write EnglishBenefits and Perks401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountsFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid elder carePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurance
