New Alternatives, Inc. is a private nonprofit agency that provides a wide range of services to children, youth, and families in San Diego and Orange Counties. Services include residential, outpatient, day treatment and in-home support services.
Focus: Regulatory Compliance
Duties:
Monitor County contract compliance
Monitor DHCS requirements
Monitor Medi-Cal documentation standards
Monitor CMS requirements
Monitor CDSS/STRTP regulations
Monitor Probation contract requirements
Monitor Licensing requirements
Support Accreditation preparation
Complete Compliance audits
Audit policy tracking
Compliance Specialist
Tracks contract requirements
Maintains compliance calendars
Reviews policies
Supports audits
Monitors regulatory changes
Ideal background:
Behavioral health contracts
Healthcare compliance
Managed care
County behavioral health systems
Compliance certification (CHC preferred)
Hourly rate: $25-29/hour, based on education and experience.
