Purchasing Manager Details:

Direct hire position
$ 52,000.00 / annually
First shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

Monitor inventory levels and identify purchasing needs to maximize inventory turns and customer service levels
Research potential new vendors and products
Compare and evaluate vendor offers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, terms, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and supplier reputation/history
Represent the company in negotiating or renegotiating contracts and formulating supplier policies
Monitor the Assistant Purchasing Agent

Purchasing Manager Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or Agent for a minimum of five (5) years
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Accounting, or Business Administration
Proficiency in Microsoft software
Preferred: Three or more years of electrical industry experience
