Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders during security‑related events. Document observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns in detailed reports and relay important information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess a CPO certification. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical‑related field. Have at least 5 years of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
