we introduce our participants to a life governed by belief in Christ and provide an opportunity to be mentored by adult Christian men.

Job Summary
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing HOPE Farm's fundraising and external engagement strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CDO partners closely with leadership and the Board of Directors to drive philanthropic growth and expand donor relationships.

This role leads a comprehensive development program, including major gifts, donor engagement, and fundraising strategy, while providing oversight of marketing and communications to ensure alignment with fundraising priorities and consistent, mission-driven messaging.


Job Duties
• Develop and execute integrated fundraising and engagement strategies to support organizational growth.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors, including cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of donor prospects and expand major gift support.
• Establish fundraising goals and monitor performance through data, reporting and pipeline management.
• Partner with the Executive Director and Board to strengthen donor engagement and fundraising
participation.
• Lead and develop a high-performing development team through coaching and leadership.
• Oversee marketing and communications efforts to ensure alignment with fundraising strategy and donor
engagement.
• Represent HOPE Farm externally and serve as an ambassador in the community.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in nonprofit fundraising or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in major gifts fundraising and managing donor relationships.
• Experience leading or overseeing a development function and managing teams.
• Experience working closely with boards and executive leadership.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and strategic thinking skills.
• Alignment with HOPE Farm's faith-based mission and comfort working in a Christ-centered environment.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
