Precision Saw Cutting Technician
Location: Barberton, OH
Pay: Starting at $17.50–$18.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday–Friday — 1st (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) or 2nd (2:30 PM–11:00 PM)
Express Employment Professionals Akron is placing dependable, hands-on technicians with a local manufacturing partner in Barberton. If you enjoy a fast-moving production floor and take pride in precise cuts, this role puts your skills to work with steady weekday hours.
A Day in the RoleWhen you start your shift—whether you prefer mornings or afternoons—you’ll review job orders, verify measurements, and set up your saw for the day’s runs. You’ll keep materials moving, check quality on the fly, and maintain a clean, safe work area so the team can hit production goals without missing a beat.
What You’ll Do- Run and monitor production saws with safe, efficient practices
- Measure, cut, and stage materials to exact specifications
- Read and follow work orders and production instructions
- Complete routine quality checks on finished pieces
- Keep your station organized and free of hazards
- Comply with all safety procedures and company policies
- Manufacturing or saw operation experience (preferred)
- Confidence reading a tape measure and working to spec
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift materials and work on a production floor
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Team mindset with the ability to work independently
- Competitive pay at $18.00 per hour on current openings
