The RS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance.Primary Responsibilities:Assist with receiving the truck, moving freight from the truck to the sales floor, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the storeMaintain a neat and organized receiving areaAssist with training new receiving SpecialistsCommunicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessaryGreet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front endAccurately and efficiently operate the register as neededBe knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to ensure that customer questions can be answered and to assist with selling product; support Ollie's Army and other donation programs throughout the yearMaintain the cleanliness of the overall storeComplete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basisAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to preserve confidentiality of informationAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlinesOutstanding interpersonal and listening skillsMust have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and AssociatesPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to push and pull up to 35 poundsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to bend and twist frequentlyAbility to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequentlyAbility to squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionallyAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerOllie's is an equal opportunity employer.
