Industrial MechanicAVANTech, LLC solves some of the most challenging problems in the water industry – from being first responders to the Fukushima Nuclear Plant meltdown to implementing patented first-of-its-kind technology. Our projects include industrial water recycling and cleaning up legacy cold war wastewater at government sites. AVANTech's goal is to improve the environment around us and support our clients with innovative sustainable water treatment solutions.The Industrial Mechanic must have the ability to read blueprints and be able to follow design specifications. A working knowledge of electrical wiring and instrumentation and controls is a plusUnderstanding of valves, flanges, and gasketsMechanically able to glue PVC piping together using a PVC piping drawingExcellent troubleshooting skillsHVAC, plumbing, electrical, or auto mechanic experience is helpfulForklift and scissor lift useAbility to use an overhead craneAbility to follow blueprint drawings and bend stainless steel tubing is a plusThe industrial mechanic must be able to work in confined spacesHydrostatic testing experiencePneumatic tubing experienceOccasional travel requiredRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to be flexible and responsive to changing business needsCandidate must be able to pass drug test, background check, and physicalMust be able to work with safe working practicesPerksVaried insurance offerings with company matchProfessional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive work environmentThis is an hourly, non-exempt position.AVANTech, LLC is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
