Sales Consultant – Account Manager – Bay Area, CA This role is an entry to mid-level sales position within KONE’s global elevator and escalator business. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a local portfolio of customers, building and maintaining strong relationships, and identifying technology solutions that meet client needs. The role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn modern sales methods. Responsibilities Proactively build and maintain relationships with assigned customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Identify and recommend complex technology solutions using KONE’s industry-leading support system. Use KONE’s customer relationship management (CRM) system to track sales opportunities and customer interactions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and support to deliver solutions. Learn and apply solution selling methodologies (e.g., Sandler) to drive sales effectiveness. Track and report on sales performance against quarterly targets. Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years in a sales-related role). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with CRM tools; willingness to learn and use technology. Motivation to learn and apply solution selling techniques such as Sandler. Team-player mindset with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $101,500–$133,200 (depending on experience and qualifications).
