Summary Fixed Income COO Associate Summary: Fixed Income seeks an Associate to join the COO team. Key responsibilities include working with Fixed Income management on strategy and business development, financial resource management, and developing and monitoring divisional performance metrics. Responsibilities Strategy & Business Development Contribute to identification of strategic growth opportunities and develop execution plans. Prepare compelling analysis and presentations to support management discussion of Fixed Income’s strategy and new business initiatives. Assist with performance deep dives into areas of management focus and provide insight into potential value‑add actions. Work with Fixed Income management and Finance partners to develop the annual financial budget and periodic forecasts. Prepare competitor analysis and identify areas of opportunity for Fixed Income. Contribute to ad hoc work supporting new product development, including elements of project management. Financial Resource Management Monitor Fixed Income’s balance sheet and capital usage; develop analytics to drive optimization of resource utilization. Partner with Finance, Risk, and Business areas to conduct deep dive reviews of capital and balance sheet topics. Develop a commercial understanding of key capital and balance sheet methodologies and optimization strategies. Performance Analytics & Other Responsibilities Contribute to regular reporting of Fixed Income KPI’s; identify potential enhancements and recommend changes to management. Prepare analysis and insights on business performance for senior management. Engage Finance to ensure accurate reporting of divisional financials. Provide dynamic support for the broader Fixed Income COO area as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or a related field. 2‑5 years of experience in the financial industry; experience in investment banking market’s area strongly preferred. Experience in a business management, strategy, or a financial analysis role. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge required, including ability to create compelling presentations for senior management. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial information. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, including capacity to multi‑task while maintaining a focus on timely delivery. Ability to work proactively and independently. Keen attention to detail and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Compensation & Benefits The expected base salary ranges from $100,000 – $150,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
