Role Description The Scaffolding Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position oversees daily scaffolding operations, including planning, erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffold systems for industrial, marine, and construction projects. The supervisor coordinates crew assignments, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, and verifies that all installations follow OSHA, company, and project-specific standards. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, inspecting scaffolding and fall protection systems, maintaining accurate documentation and material inventories, and communicating with project managers and clients regarding progress and scheduling. The role also involves training team members on safe working at height practices and supporting a culture of continuous improvement in safety and productivity. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills with experience leading field crews and coordinating daily scaffolding activities. Hands-on expertise in scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling, with a focus on safe and efficient workflows. Proficiency in working at height and applying fall protection measures in accordance with OSHA and company standards. Knowledge of shoring, swing stages, and related access systems used in industrial, marine, and construction projects. Demonstrated commitment to safety, including conducting inspections, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks. Ability to read and interpret project plans, load calculations, and technical specifications. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, contractors, and clients on-site. Reliable transportation to job sites in the Miami, FL area and flexibility to work varying schedules as project needs require.
