Quality Coordinator

Job Summary and Qualifications The Quality Coordinator supports the hospital’s approach to evidence‑based care and clinical excellence by designing and managing quality improvement initiatives, analyzing performance data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Working with the Vice President of Quality, the coordinator collects, analyzes, and reports on data related to the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program. Responsibilities Detailed understanding of performance improvement techniques. Ensure conformance to regulatory and corporate policy requirements. Coordinate quality improvement activities and projects related to evidence‑based care and clinical excellence. Monitor and collect performance improvement data, ensuring accuracy and validity. Analyze data to identify statistically significant trends compared to industry standards and benchmarks. Report compliance rates on a quarterly basis. Act as clinical liaison between physicians, clinical coordinators, and administrative staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Three (3) years’ experience in an acute hospital setting preferred. Certification in Quality (CPHQ) or Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred. Formal training in clinical healthcare required.
