Davis Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Battery Pack Packers / Packaging Associates for a manufacturing facility in Matteson, IL. In this role, you will package finished battery products, perform quality inspections, apply shipping labels, and prepare products for storage and shipment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Qualifications Include:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience is a plus
Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Basic math and counting skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with barcode scanners or warehouse systems is helpful but not required
Knowledge of battery handling or shipping regulations is a plus
Job Responsibilities Include:
Package finished battery products according to company specifications and quality standards
Inspect batteries and packaging materials for defects, damage, or contamination
Apply labels, barcodes, and shipping documentation accurately
Assemble cartons, inserts, and protective packaging materials
Operate packaging equipment such as sealers, labelers, pallet wrappers, and banders
Palletize and prepare finished products for warehouse storage or shipment
Job Details Include:
12 hour shift
8:00 am - 8:00 pm
$17 an hour
