Finance Officer

About the role

Working part time (15.2 hours per week) the Finance Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across SASS and for supporting key finance functions across the organisation. The role contributes to accounts payable and receivable, month-end accruals, financial reporting and funding acquittals.

We encourage you to apply for this role if you have:

• Qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping and/or payroll administration
• A minimum of two years working in an accounting and/or payroll processing position
• Ability to use or quickly learn a range of software such as Xero and ELMO
• Good attention to detail and systematic follow-up
• Sound priority management skills
• A current Working with Vulnerable People Card and be willing to obtain a National Police Check.

This position is a 0.4FTE permanent position.
