Patient Services Representative (PSR)

The Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for a non-permanent Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join the Health Services team located at the Washington Corrections Center in Shelton, WA. Under the supervision of the Patient Services Supervisor, this incumbent supports that mission to provide quality on-site and off-site health care services to patients, consistent with the provisions of DOC's Offender Health Plan. The Patient Services Representative will work collaboratively with the clinical providers and transport team utilizing the established CRC Process and Scheduling Process and guidelines. The incumbent will cross train to serve as backup for other Patient Service Representative staff as needed. Will support adherence to DOC Policy. Washington Corrections Center is our transition center where all those that are being assigned to DOC come to for initial evaluation and are then sent to their designated facilities. This is a busy facility seeing patients for physicals and transfers. Washington Corrections Center has both inpatient and outpatient clinics that see numerous patients for different health needs and concerns.
