Our client is one of the area's largest locally owned manufacturing corporations. With industry-leading technology, this company is positioned for long-term growth and stability. Due to retirement, they are currently looking for a Stamping Tooling Engineer.

Job responsibilities of the Stamping Tooling Engineer:

Ensuring cost effective stamping tooling is created and used  
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with stamping tooling
Making modifications to stamping tooling to improve processes and efficiency
Working with Tool & Die employees on stamping tooling needs
Developing stamping tooling and dies for new product launches
Find the tooling capacity to run new product launches by analyzing part blueprints and process capabilities
Be on the floor for launches and verifying that the stamping tooling is correct

Requirements of the Stamping Tooling Engineer include:

Experience as a Tooling Engineer in a metal stamping environment is essential
Strong tooling troubleshooting skills and willingness to be hands-on
Ability to read blueprints
