Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, experienced in both supervised and unsupervised care models, with strong OB and general anesthesia skills. This is a full-time position with a quick start preferred, requiring flexibility for floating between facilities approximately 20 minutes apart. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients, including OB procedures such as VBAC/TOLAC.
• Provide support for general surgeries, obstetric cases, ENT, and other specialized procedures.
• Perform epidurals, TAP blocks, spinal, and peripheral nerve blocks.
• Support staff in both supervised (Owatonna) and unsupervised (Faribault) care models.
• Respond promptly to beeper call with a 30-minute response time, including overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.

Schedule & Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8 or 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30 or 07:00 - 17:30)
• Fridays: Elective surgeries; emergent cases (e.g., C-sections) only
• Weekend & PM Call: Rotated, with overnight coverage from 7 am to 7 am
• Call Pay: Weeknight Overnight Call ($800), Weekend Beeper Call ($1500), Weeknight Beeper Call (4 hours, $300)
• Additional Compensation: Call back at 1.5x hourly rate, OT at 1.5x, holiday pay at 1.5x

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of anesthesia experience
• Strong OB experience, including VBAC/TOLAC
• Ability to manage both supervised and unsupervised care environments
• Comfort with scheduled and emergent procedures, including epidurals and nerve blocks
• Willingness to respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes

Shift Details

• Day shifts from 07:00 to 15:30 (4x8-hour shifts weekly)
• Support at both facilities, with supervision at Owatonna and unsupervised practice at Faribault
