Customer Engagement Specialist

Job Description POLITICO is looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist to support our POLITICO Pro and E&E News subscribers. This role is part of the Customer Success function of Professional Subscriptions but collaborates equally with our Account Management team. Our specialists focus on maximizing the customer experience through exceptional inbound support and outbound engagement to enhance product adoption and account health. This position is based in our HQ in Arlington, VA. What You'll Do Support inbound customer needs, handling requests and technical troubleshooting efficiently. Onboard new customers, guiding them through end‑user customization and adoption processes. Monitor engagement, tracking health scores, usage reports, and engagement rates to identify improvement opportunities. Steward feedback, collecting and communicating customer insights to internal teams for product improvement. Build strong relationships with end users to enhance retention and promote long‑term engagement. Identify growth opportunities, leveraging research and insights to uncover potential account expansion. What You'll Need 1–2 years of professional experience in customer success, sales, business development, account management, or marketing (including internships/externships). B.A./B.S. preferred.
