Accounting and Finance Recruiter in Portland, Oregon Job Title: Accounting Assistant Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5pm We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s growing team as an Entry-Level Accounting Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in accounting, tax preparation, and financial planning while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist with tax preparation, filing, and planning activities under the guidance of a Senior Accountant. Support tax planning activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Process bi‑weekly payroll and manage payroll tax reporting. Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel required). Understanding of tax compliance and accounting principles.
