Transportation Geotechnical Business Class Leader Join HDR as a Transportation Geotechnical Business Class Leader . This role involves leading HDR's geotechnical practice with a focus on deep foundation design and construction, especially within the south-east US (FL, AL, MS, TN, SC). The leader will represent HDR to clients, develop technical expertise across teams, and support strategic growth. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and improve technical competencies in deep foundation design and construction Engage in project approaches and resource reviews for optimal team setup Select, mentor, and manage geotechnical staff Promote the geotechnical practice and develop partnerships to advance innovative solutions Contribute to HDR’s geotechnical standards, quality assurance, and strategic planning Manage projects, develop marketing strategies, and represent HDR in client interactions Collaborate with HDR’s geotechnical community of practice and facilitate national training programs Qualifications Active PE registration in AL, FL, MS, SC, and TN within 6 months Proficient in deep foundation construction and geotechnical software Master’s degree in Engineering (Geotechnical/Geologic) or equivalent 15+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience Strong knowledge in rock and soil mechanics, foundation analysis, and seismic considerations Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field At least 10 years of relevant experience Professional engineering registration Experience managing diverse teams and working collaboratively across business groups HDR is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a welcoming environment for all employees. #J-18808-Ljbffr
