Brake Press Machine Operator

Press Brake Operator We are seeking a Press Brake Operator who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a first shift position working from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available. Job Duties Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts to exact specifications Interpret and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders Select, install, and adjust tooling, dies, back gauges, and machine settings Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for quality and efficiency Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues Maintain clean, organized work area following safety policies and procedures Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Troubleshoot problems and correctly fill out tags associated with production to identify parts produced Monitors the calibration of the equipment they use within their department Perform other duties as needed
