Dental Assistant Job location: Grand Junction, CO Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.53 - $23.85 per hour Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Full-Time | Grand Junction, CO What You’ll Do Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patients for care Take and process dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records Educate patients about treatment plans and home care Perform expanded duties, including coronal polishing, fluoride application, impressions, temporary crowns, and night guard delivery (as permitted by certification) Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Help manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and support laboratory processes Assist with inventory, ordering supplies, and training new team members What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED At least one year of chairside dental assisting experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and patient service skills Commitment to teamwork, safety, and high-quality patient care Preferred Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program Bilingual in English and Spanish Dental radiography certification and expanded duties experience At PrimeHealth+, we believe oral health is an essential part of whole-person care. Additional Requirements: Candidates must be current on—or willing to obtain—required immunizations and screenings, including Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, annual flu vaccine, and TB screening.
