Dental Hygienist – Summit View Dental Care Join a brand‑new dental practice in Lecanto, FL, opening September 2026. Summit View Dental Care is building a patient‑focused, energized team and is hiring Dental Hygienists to work part‑time (4 days per week) with flexible hours and ample support. Location & Hours Network office at 7330 N. Norwell Bryant Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461. Weekly schedule: 4 days per week – Three days: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM One extended‑hour shift (Tuesday or Wednesday): either 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM Key Responsibilities Provide restorative and preventive dental hygiene services, including cleaning, scaling, and patient education. Screen patients, gather medical histories, and document findings accurately. \l Work collaboratively with the dental team, acting as a patient advocate. Participate in ongoing clinical training through the Hygiene Mentor Program and other educational opportunities. Maintain high standards of patient care and safety, including infection control and proper use of clinical equipment. Minimum Qualifications Active dental hygienist license in Florida. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds. Availability for virtual or in‑person training sessions throughout the year. TB test required for new hires (not applicable in FL & TN). Preferred Experience New graduates and experienced hygienists alike are encouraged. Experience with Dentrix, Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Strong desire to continue learning and enhance clinical skills.
