Summit View Dental Care Summit View Dental Care is a brand new dental practice coming soon to Lecanto, FL! We are looking for friendly, collaborative Dental Hygienists to build our new hygiene team! Our goal is to create a patient-focused, energized, and committed team focused on delivering quality care to our community. Construction to be completed in September 2026 - we are hiring actively in advance to train together at a nearby location in advance of opening day! The new office will be located at N Norwell Bryant Hwy in Lecanto, FL 34461. Office hours: Monday-Friday (4 days/week). The office offers two extended-hour days each week to provide convenient scheduling for patients while supporting work‑life balance with a consistent 4-day workweek for hygienists. Weekly Schedule Three days: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM One extended‑hour shift (Tuesday or Wednesday) Either 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM Or 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM As a Dental Hygienist , you'll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation. CPR Certification. Preferred Experience New graduates and experienced hygienists encouraged to apply! Experience using Dentrix, VelScope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health. Clinical needs as required by office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year. A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
