Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Valid OR SPED license required
• Strong background in special education services, including both instructional and programmatic support
• Demonstrated ability to manage or coordinate student health and behavioral services
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Capable of providing administrative or clerical assistance as it relates to special education implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Guide the practical application of special education programs across the school
• Coordinate supports for students, including behavioral and health-related accommodations
• Serve as a resource for teachers, assisting with strategies, compliance, and documentation
• Facilitate communication between special education, related services, and general education staff
• Provide direct or indirect support to students based on individualized needs
• Manage necessary paperwork, schedules, and administrative requirements associated with special education services
