Sunset Farm Foods, Inc. is a fourth-generation, family-owned meat processing and sausage company in Valdosta, Georgia, in business since 1918. We're growing our Maintenance team and looking for hands-on, dependable technicians who can keep our equipment running and our plant safe. Electrical and ammonia refrigeration experience is a big plus!

What You'll Do

1. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues.
2. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plant equipment and systems.
3. Inspect compressors, electrical connections, and motor operations.
4. Test and repair equipment using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing tools.
5. Keep accurate maintenance records and complete daily/weekly/monthly checklists.
6. Work safely and follow all plant policies and regulations.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of industrial mechanic experience (food industry a plus).
• Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, and conveyors.
• Familiarity with 3-phase/120V systems and PLC troubleshooting.
• Comfortable reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Own hand tools, and skilled with power tools and multi-meters.
• Electrical and/or ammonia refrigeration experience is a big plus!
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
