Maintenance ManagerThis company is a long-established leader in North American flexible-packaging and retail services, with deep roots in innovation.They offer a robust compensation package that includes comprehensive healthcare and retirement benefits, performance-based incentives, career development opportunities, and a workplace rooted in respect, teamwork, innovation, and inclusivity.This is a hands on role focused on project management, including equipment installs and new projects and on leading and developing the maintenance teamResponsibilities:Lead maintenance and facility projects from planning through completion, including new equipment installations and system upgrades.Implement and review safety policies and standards, ensuring all activities meet or exceed safety protocols.Develop a PM program.Manage the department budget, prioritizing by urgency and available resources.Manage, mentor, train, and supervise team members, including personnel decisions, key metrics, and performance.Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for maintenance work.Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and timing with affected teams and other department leadership.Maintain records and documentation to all requirements and regulations using a CMMS platform such as Limble.Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective changes.Ensure timely inspections and upkeep of company property and systems.Keep the department, premises, and facilities clean and hygienic, meeting internal and external regulations.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Education, and Experience:Bachelor's degree required, engineering strongly preferred. At least 6 years of experience in a supervisory role. Demonstrated project management experience, including equipment installs and capital projects. Solid working knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes in manufacturing, including blueprints and schematics. Experience with a CMMS platform, Limble preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills and an interactive leadership style, with the ability to present to large groups. Strong safety and quality mindset. Exceptional time management and organizational skills, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Effective communicator in verbal, written, and presentation formats with executive leadership, staff, and clients. Proactive, with sound judgment and the ability to identify problems and develop solutions. Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
