Technical Program Manager

Position: Technical Program Manager Job Type: 12-24 Month Project ,Contract(C2C/W2/1099) Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid Role - 3 Days a week) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong foundation in Java technology to lead and manage the successful delivery of complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Java-based systems, excellent program management skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Program Management: Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time and within budget. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and timelines. Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Java-based applications and technologies. Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in software development. Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize performance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between business teams and technical teams. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align project goals with organizational objectives. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Required Skills And Qualifications Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java programming, including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Java EE. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Solid understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL). Program Management: Proven experience in managing end-to-end technical programs and large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or MS Project. Communication and Leadership: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
