Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing greater flexibility and work-life balance for our counselors. You will primarily operate out of your home office while having the support of a collaborative online team. Our outpatient office model ensures that you can provide immediate, accessible care to patients in their own environments, creating a comfortable and safe therapeutic experience.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy plans for clients through initial assessments and ongoing evaluations tailored to their unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, consulting regularly with psychologists, psychiatrists, and support staff to address client needs.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is accurate, timely, and confidential.

• Participate in continuous education workshops to stay current on the latest advancements in mental health therapy and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Connecticut.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical practices relevant to mental health counseling.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
