Accounting Specialist

Reports to: Accounting Supervisor for Billing, Invoicing, & Exports

Nonexempt Hourly Rate: $25.00 - Type of position: Full-timeNonexempt - Hours: C Shift / 3rd shift

General Description: Job responsibilities include creating manifests, billing orders as they close (leave) shipping, resolving any discrepancy preventing the bill with the shipping department, generating invoices confirming pricing, pallets, freight rates, and PO numbers, updating tracking spreadsheets daily, preparing and handling export documents, and other clerical duties as assigned.

Systems Used: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, ECS, and a 10-key calculator are used daily. General computer knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.

Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communications skills, recommended 6 months office experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, weekend availability required, ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: Vision, medical, and dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment. Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and company observed holidays. 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.
