Accounting Specialist

Location: Greeley, Co Beef Plant

Reports to: Accounting Supervisor for Procurement

Nonexempt Hourly Rate: $24.75 - Type of position: Full-time - Nonexempt - Hours: A Shift / 1st shift

General Description: Job responsibilities:

• Consistently delivers timely and accurate reports, and information as needed
• Process cattle lots as they arrive on site
• Verify lot details for accuracy
• Work with Harvest Floor scaler to move drives as necessary
• Maintain SOX compliance when handling and storing lot details
• Assist Accounting Supervisor with livestock reporting

Systems Used: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, CPS, and a 10-key calculator are used daily. General computer knowledge, effective communication skills, & the ability to multi-task are required.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting educational experience, or 3 years professional experience.
• Microsoft Office proficient; Microsoft Excel knowledge mandatory
• Some weekend availability may be required
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
