Job Summary:

\n

The Project Manager will lead the enterprise-wide implementation of Cerner's Infusion Management Suite, including integration with Baxter IV pumps, across all hospitals and applicable outpatient areas, with particular focus on Oncology and any other setting where IV pumps are utilized. This is a technical PM role requiring hands-on comfort with Cerner clinical configuration and workflows, including MPages, iView, privileges, and preference configuration, as the PM will need to understand the underlying technology well enough to guide build, testing, and go-live decisions rather than manage at a purely administrative level. The role also requires close collaboration with pharmacy resources, given the tight linkage between pharmacy processes and clinical documentation in iView. The PM will work alongside the health system's Cerner development team and additional Cerner resources supporting the build, and will be responsible for bridging technical, clinical, pharmacy, and operational stakeholders across a multi-year, enterprise-scale rollout.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-wide project management of the Cerner Infusion Management Suite implementation, including Baxter IV pump integration
\n
• Manage scope across all hospitals and applicable outpatient areas, with particular attention to Oncology and other IV pump-utilizing settings
\n
• Develop and maintain the project plan, timeline, milestones, and risk/issue log across a 12–18 month implementation
\n
• Partner closely with pharmacy resources to ensure pharmacy workflows are accurately reflected in clinical documentation and iView configuration
\n
• Collaborate with the Cerner development team and supporting Cerner resources on build, configuration, and testing of MPages, iView, privileges, and preference configurations
\n
• Coordinate device/hardware workstreams related to Zebra devices and phones supporting the infusion workflow
\n
• Bridge technical, clinical, pharmacy, and operational stakeholders to align on workflow design and implementation decisions
\n
• Facilitate project governance including status reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communication
\n
• Manage testing, validation, training, and phased go-live activities across multiple facilities
\n
• Identify and mitigate risks related to patient safety, workflow disruption, and device integration during rollout
\n
• Support post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and adoption tracking across sites
\n
• Document configuration decisions, workflows, and implementation outcomes for future reference
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Strong enterprise IT Project Management experience within a healthcare/health system environment
\n
• Cerner and Cerner Infusion Management experience required
\n
• Working knowledge of Cerner MPages, iView, Privileges, Preferences/preference configuration, CareAware, and other relevant Cerner clinical configuration
\n
• Understanding of Zebra (or applicable) clinical communications hardware
\n
• Understanding of how pharmacy processes translate into clinical workflow and iView documentation
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of the pharmacy-to-bedside medication verification workflow
\n
• Ability to bridge technical, clinical, pharmacy, and operational stakeholders across a large-scale, multi-site implementation
\n
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and risk management skills
\n
• Familiarity with medical device connectivity/interoperability standards preferred
