Ready for your next opportunity as a School Psychologist in the Houston area for the 2026–2027 school year? We have contract positions available for licensed professionals passionate about supporting students’ wellbeing and academic growth. Assignments run from July 30, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with placements in South and Central Houston schools.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• A current, active Texas School Psychologist credential or licensure (documentation required upon application)
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting
• Ability to commit to full-time, on-site work (37.5 hours per week)
• Reliable transportation to school sites
• Willingness and ability to complete HISD fingerprinting within the first three days of contract
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and school teams

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized education and behavioral plans
• Consulting with educators, staff, and families to support student development
• Providing crisis intervention and counseling as needed
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and district guidelines
• Adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice in educational settings
