In this role, you will independently diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, shop efficiency, and overall service quality. Key Objectives Lead complex diagnostics and repairs to ensure timely and accurate service on a wide range of RV makes and models Support service department performance by mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a collaborative, high‑quality work environment Maintain a high standard of workmanship that enhances customer satisfaction and promotes repeat business Responsibilities Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation Diagnose and repair RV systems including but not limited to: electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings Complete PDI and prepare units for customer delivery Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to entry‑level and mid‑level technicians Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials What You’ll Bring 4+ years of hands‑on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures RVTI certification Ability to work independently and as a team leader Have a set of personal tools Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time Ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays) Neat, clean, and professional appearance Ability to pass a background and drug test Demonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions Expected Results Consistently deliver accurate, high‑quality repairs with minimal rework Help improve shop efficiency and service turnaround times Support technician development and contribute to a positive team environment Contribute to increased customer satisfaction and service department efficiency Resources Paid training sessions and certification opportunities Personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniforms Career advancement paths within the company Supportive management team and an organized work environment Opportunities for advancement and leadership within the service department Who We Are Bish’s RV is one of the largest family‑owned RV dealers in the country.
