We currently have an opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver at our Memphis, TN facility. The hourly wage for this position is $22.45 per hour.Responsibilities:Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rulesParticipate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times: Always using the required personal protective equipmentEnsuring that authorized work is completed safelyUtilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazardsParticipating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiativesReporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedureComplete paperwork as required, receive shipments, lot tracking, controls around auditing, scheduling/coordinating trucking off-shift and supervisor fill-inUnload, count, perform data entry and stocking of inbound material and/or pick, audit and ship outbound orders. Enter data into inventory system using RAMP-PROPSVerifies accuracy of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities against documentsPrepares items for delivery including acquiring signatures and maintaining Receiving documentsSign for receipt of product from delivery drivers. Assist in unloading of trucks if requiredSort product and ensure accuracy of product receivedVerify product condition and suitability for receipt. Electronically receive product. Use of automated data collection equipment and computers is requiredPlace product into assigned locationsBin consolidation, warehouse transfers and restocking from overstock to pick locationsUsing picklists or paperless picking tools, select items from stock to ship. Document items selected and record picker number on picklistUsing Picklists or barcode readers, audit picked shipments to verify correct part number, serial/lot number and quantity. Document errors detected on the provided log.
