Cost Accountant

Senior Cost AccountantPosition Location: Fort Worth, TXDuties and Responsibilities:• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs• Maintain and review weekly KPI's with leadership with ability explain and analyze variances• Budgeting and standards review management• Monitor material and labor cost and identify information requirements and recommend improvements• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs• Create and maintain internal item code system for ERP software• Other duties as assignedQualifications and Experience:• 4-year degree required – Accounting/Business/Finance preferred• 5 years experience in relative role• Close attention to detail and the ability to function efficiently with a minimal supervision• Food Industry experience preferred• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems• Demonstrated ability to define quantitative/qualitative problems, collect data, interpret results, and draw valid conclusions.• Strong attention to detail and ability to map and follow processes
