Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, adeptly explaining each process with empathy
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outputs
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and ensure patient records are meticulously maintained in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
