Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including, but not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each process with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any issues without delay
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient information in the electronic medical record system
• Remain updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
