Position Overview We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to be a part of a collaborative team delivering patient-centered imaging services. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to provide diagnostic procedures, work in sync with a supportive healthcare team, and bring reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, thoroughly explaining each procedure with empathy and clarity
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic output
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
- Accurately document processes and ensure patient records are updated in the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent credentials
- BLS certification is a plus
- Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and adept at patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
