Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD S/4HANA Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Sales and Distribution processes within a complex, multi-region enterprise SAP landscape. This role will partner with global business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver scalable Order-to-Cash solutions, support project deployments, and drive process improvements across SAP SD and integrated modules.

The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP SD configuration expertise, hands-on Variant Configuration experience, working knowledge of Brazil and LATAM localization requirements, and proven SAP SD COPA integration experience, alongside a solid understanding of SAP MM and FI integration. This position requires hands-on involvement throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, cutover planning, go-live support, and knowledge transfer activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex Sales and Distribution requirements, ensuring SAP SD solutions align with organizational strategy and deliver measurable business value.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP SD solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes, including sales orders, pricing, billing, delivery, and customer master data management.
• Configure and optimize SAP SD Variant Configuration models to handle diverse product structures and options, enabling accurate quotations and efficient order processing.
• Translate Brazil and LATAM specific tax and regulatory requirements into robust SAP SD configurations supporting compliant invoicing and reporting with minimal manual intervention.
• Design and validate SAP SD COPA integration scenarios in coordination with finance teams, ensuring revenue and cost data flows accurately into profitability analysis structures.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Configure and support integrations between SAP SD, MM, FI, and Service Management modules.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing to validate end-to-end functionality and data integrity.
• Investigate and resolve complex defects and production incidents related to SAP SD configurations and interfaces, driving sustainable root-cause fixes.
• Support EDI/IDOC processing, output determination, and related interface troubleshooting.
• Conduct change impact assessments for SAP SD enhancements, evaluating upstream and downstream effects and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Support data migration and cutover activities by validating mapping rules, executing reconciliation checks, and confirming readiness of master and transactional data for go-live.
• Coordinate transport management activities and support production deployments.
• Prepare process documentation and business scenarios enabling effective knowledge transfer to functional teams and end users.
• Provide post-go-live and hypercare support, and serve as a subject matter expert for SAP SD processes and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with onsite, offshore, business, and technical teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD functional experience in complex enterprise environments.
• 2 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD configuration and end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Hands-on SAP SD Variant Configuration experience, including modeling configurable products, maintaining condition records, and validating configuration results in real scenarios.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting SAP SD for Brazil and LATAM markets, with familiarity in local tax rules, invoicing requirements, and compliance reporting.
• Solid SAP SD COPA integration background, including configuration of value fields, mapping of billing elements, and validation of profitability analysis reports.
• Experience with SAP Pricing, Revenue Account Determination, Customer Master, Material Master, and Condition Records.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD integration with SAP MM and FI.
• Experience creating functional specifications and supporting custom developments.
• Knowledge of EDI/IDOC processing and Output Determination.
• Full-lifecycle testing experience including test scenario creation, regression execution, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model and collaborate with global teams across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Service Management (SM).
• Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or S/4HANA migration programs.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or supply chain business processes.
• SAP Certified Application Associate Sales and Distribution.
• SAP Certified Application Associate Management Accounting (CO-PA).
