Plumbing Service Technician

The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for responding to service calls, diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. This role ensures system reliability, water efficiency, and customer satisfaction while adhering to local codes and safety standards. Technicians handle a wide range of tasks including leak detection, pipe replacement, drain cleaning, fixture installation, and water heater service. They are expected to document all work accurately, provide clear communication to customers about required repairs, and deliver exceptional customer service. Emergency service may occasionally be required depending on service demand. Successful candidates demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and professionalism. They must be knowledgeable in plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures. Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing environments is highly valued, as is the ability to work independently or as part of a team. What you’ll be doing Diagnosing plumbing problems in water supply, drainage, and fixtures Repairing leaks, clogs, and broken pipes effectively and safely Performing preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent failures Installing plumbing fixtures and water heaters according to specifications Communicating clearly with customers regarding repairs and maintenance Key Responsibilities
